Tanja Sonc (1992)
started learning playing the violin at the age of five at the Music and
Ballet High School Ljubljana in the professor Armin Sešek's class. She
is the student on Ljubljana Music academy in Primož Novšak class. Tanja
is also a student at Leopold Mozart institut in Salzburg for
highly talented musicians in the class of Wonyi Kim
Ozim. She worked on masterclasses with Igor Ozim,
Stephen Shipps, Sylvie Gazeau, Wonji Kim Ozim.
She played as soloist with :
Vrhniški godalni orkester (Sarasate: Zigeunerweisen),
Simphony orkestra of Musik High School in Ljubljana (Mendelssohn:
Concerto in e op.64),
Buhm orchestra in Prague (Mozart: Simfonia concertante)
Alpe-Adria orchestra (Beethoven: Romance in G op.40),
Slovene filharmonic
orchestra P.I.Tschaikovsky: Concerto in D op. 35,
J.Massenet:Thais meditation, P. de Sarasate: Carmen Fantasy op.25).
She played on concerts in organisation " Glasbena mladina ljubljanska "
in Cekin, Tivoli castle, Read hall in city
hause, Križanke, Kosovel hall in Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana,
"Samoborska glasbena jesen" Samobor in Croatia.
She had many concerts in Slovenija, Croatia, Italy, Germany,
Switzerland, Belgie, Austria and Chech Republic.
She recieved many awards at national and
international competitions.
In February 2007 she was the absolute winner in Zagreb
(Croatia) at the "Etide i skale" competiton, recieveing a special award
for the best realization of etude, virtuoso compozition and obligatory
piece.
In 2009 Tanja has won the 1.prize on Slovene national competition
"TEMSIG"(100/100), and also got prize for the best
performance of the set piece, and recital in "Summer festival
LENT" in Maribor and a Concert on Festival Ljubljana in March
2010.
